Our vision is to support families of children and young adults in a palliative cancer care environment, so no parent has to care for their child alone, ensuring every moment is treasured without financial stress.
Values
- Compassion: Showing compassion and empathy to families caring for a child with a palliative cancer diagnosis at home, to make a meaningful difference.
- Care: Providing care and support that is practical to allow families to spend quality time together without financial or domestic stress.
- Availability: Being available to families to provide essential financial and emotional support during palliative cancer care, and where families experience a bereavement.
- Privacy: Prioritising privacy at the discretion of our families, over charity fundraising or awareness needs, during the most difficult of times for our families.
- Simplicity: Ensuring the process to access support for families is efficient and non-intrusive, where both financial and practical support is provided in a timely manner.
- Courage: Inspired by Keeley’s motto “There’s no such thing as can’t“ the foundation encourages children and their families to be courageous at a time where patient care and time together must be the priority.
